Our wooden map of the Pacific Crest Trail features this incredible hike in a really unique way. Officially known as the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail - it is a long-distance hiking trek that goes throught the USA and Canada, 7 national parks and 25 national forests. It is one of most scenic long-distance hiking trail which starts at the Mexican border in the south and goes through California, Oregon and Washington - all the way to the US-Canada border in the north.
The Pacific Crest Trail is 4270 km (2653 miles) long and ranges in elevation from 34m (110 feet) above the sea level to 4009 m (13 153 feet) in the Sierra Nevada. PCT was designated a National Scenic Trail in 1968, but completed officially in 1993. Together with the Appalachian Trail and the Continental Divide Trail it forms the Triple Crown of Hiking - all soon available as 68travel wooden editions ;)

Pacific Crest Trail
All map variations feature a precision laser-cut and hand-glued wood panels for an outstanding quality experience. Region borders, roads, names and cities are nicely engraved (where space permits). Regions are stained to 4 different colours with natural wood stains.
Map Installation
Wooden country maps come in one piece (editions larger than approx. 100 cm consist of one or more pieces). Glue (like a construction adhesive), strong double-sided adhesive tape (included in the package) or other mounting solution (like framing mounts, screws, etc.) can be used to install the map on a wall. Different surfaces might require different mounting solutions.

Delivery Instructions
Our wooden and moss maps are sensitive to rough handling. Due to their weight and size, the wooden pieces are quality packed suitable for international transport via a courier company. From time-to-time damage may occur during transport. Therefore, you should inspect your package upon delivery and if there is any damage to the outside packaging, record that on the spot with the delivery driver (preferably also taking detailed photos or just decline delivery). Evidence of damage has to be sent to the shipping company and ourselves within 24 hours of delivery.

The PCT wooden map is wonderful. It has a great appearance, is a good size and is well built. I plan to get more maps of the trails I've thru hiked.
