The Serenity 11 OZ – 312 G NetTent
Has a large over-sized door to make entering and exiting easy. No need to shimmy out of a long tube. Nor do you need to detach it from a cape or tarp when exiting. The ends of the Serenity are 20,32 cm / 8" tall. This effectively lengthens the floor and raises the netting off your face.
Since it takes up no more space than a bivy you won't be crowding out your neighbors. Yet it's easy to hang from the roof and guaranteed to keep the mice at bay.

Recommended Pole Heigh
What is the recommended Pole Height? The Deschutes Tarp can be set up at different heights.The Deschutes can accommodate a variable height of between 114.3 to 124.5 cm (45" to 49") depending upon conditions and your personal preferences. For maximum interior space or when using the Serenity NetTent, set your pole to 49". In most cases, you'll want to angle your pole, so the bottom of it is inside the vestibule area. This helps to maximize the sleeping area.
Will I fit?
The answer is: it depends. There are many factors that determine if you'll be comfortable using the Deschutes. It depends upon the height of the setup, the depth of your sleeping pad and your sleeping style. Take a look at the picture of the Deschutes Tarp with the Serenity NetTent, the Serenity is 214 cm/84" long and has vertical end walls of 22.9 cm/9".These days many people like using thick 5 to 10 cm (2" to 4") deep sleeping mats. While they are comfortable, they will significantly compromise internal space. Most people will find the Deschutes has both plenty of room and weather protection.

These type of shelters made by Six Moon Designs require an after-production sealant to be applied to all the sewn seams that would be vulnerable to precipitation. This not only creates a watertight bond between the pieces of fabric and fills the tiny holes created by the sewing machine, but also adds strength to the seams. This process is required to make the shelters completely waterproof.
